Islamic Republic of Iran

(27 September - 8 October 2006) At last, we left the barbarious part of Asia and got a lot closer to home. Incredibly friendly people and modern country, but with a government as frightening as the one of China.

Mt. Kilimanjaro

(2 - 11 January 2007) My friend John has built a small house on the slopes of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Don't ask me why, ask him. It's a long story. Anyway, I visited him and we went climbing.

Kebnekaise - kitteltoppen

(23 - 26 March 2007) What better is there in the break of spring than to escape the warm weather, go north and get to the peak of Sweden. With it's 2111 meters, Kebnekaise qualifies as the highest point in Sweden and all of northern Europe.
